2021: the year that was.

Oh, 2021. What a whirlwind first year you've been!

Our Head Rebel Bel began the year with a plan to get with the times and make publicity and marketing services more accessible for creatives and small businesses in Adelaide. Since launching in Feb, we've worked with some pretty incredible clients in the music, arts and hospitality industries and it's been a true honour bringing their brands and promotional campaigns to life.

We kicked off the year in Adelaide Fringe season, working with Erin Fowler's EGG and also the Cabaret Fringe. We've also worked with some incredibly talented local musicians on their EP and single release campaigns, including Raccoon City, Wing Defence and The Empty Threats. We also worked closely with Music SA throughout the year on their campaigns for EQ, Umbrella Festival, the launch of Live Nation's 'Ones To Watch' initiative in Australia at Scouted 2021 – we even got the privilege of representing the annual South Australian Music Awards.

We feel so damn lucky to have worked with so many talented creatives within the local music industry, especially considering how tough the last couple of years has been for the entertainment industry as a whole. We can't wait to see what 2022 will bring them now that restrictions are finally easing!

Looking towards the new year, we will be smashing it out of the park with Beer & BBQ Festival to bring their second edition of Homebrewed back to the Adelaide Showground in January! We've all missed celebrating local talent and vendors in the traditional Aussie festival style, so grab your tix. We've also got something up our sleeves for our 1st birthday, so keep your eyes peeled!

Thank you to all the amazing artists, creatives and event workers who helped Rebel Yell grow and thrive in its first year + to you for all of your support!

We'll be out of the office and taking a well-deserved rest from now until Monday the 10th of January. During this time we'll only be working with existing clients as we recover from all the mince pies and karaoke renditions of How To Make Gravy.

Speaking of! If you're like us and a little over Mariah Carey, we've thrown together the ultimate Christmas playlist so that you too can have A Very Rebel Xmas.

Stay bloody awesome x
